Framing Information

A Beautifully Detailed, Original Lithograph of the Bowery Savings Bank, Counting Room, New York.  EARLY PHOTOGRAPH.  From the American Architect, October 12, 1901.

This picture is extremely hard to find.  The American Architect had a very small circulation during this time and these original lithographs only appeared in a very limited number of issues that were distributed to a few prominent architects. It measures approximately 11 by 15.25 inches.  It has a mat border and foam core backing (not attached to the picture).  The whole picture measures approximately 16 by 20 inches (with border).  Extraordinary detail in this early photographic print.  Shrink wrapped.

Picture is in VG+ condition with some very light browning, one small hole at center crease as shown.

This is a highly unusual, scarce item.  See our other auctions for more original photographic pictures from this era.
