A Beautifully Detailed, Hand Colored Photographic Print of the East Shore, Mississippi River with St Anthony Falls and the Town of St Anthony, Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Enlarged by C A Zimmerman from a daguerrotype taken in 1851 by J E Whitney.   HAND COLORED

This picture is extremely hard to find, as the American Architect and Building News not only had a very small circulation during that time, but very few were actually preserved as this has been. It measures approximately 7.5 by 7 inches and has a mat border and foam core backing (not attached to the picture). The whole picture measures 16 by 12 inches (with border). Finely detailed and beautifully hand colored. Shrink wrapped.
