Framing Information

A Beautifully Detailed, Original Plan of the Colonial Theater Building, Interior Longitudinal Sections, 100 Boylston Street, Boston, Massachusetts.  HAND COLORED   C H Blackall, Architect(s).  From the American Architect and Building News, April 13, 1901.

The Colonial is the oldest continually operating theater in Boston.  It is currently owned and operated by Emerson College.

This picture is extremely hard to find, as the Architect not only had a very small circulation during that time, but very few were actually preserved or colored as this has been.  It measures approximately 12 by 16 inches.  It has a mat border and foam core backing (not attached to the picture).  The whole plan measures approximately 16 by 20 inches (with mat border).  Finely detailed and beautifully hand colored.  Shrink wrapped.

Framing is available.  Please see our selection of finishes by clicking on 'Frames' along the upper bar.
