A Beautifully Detailed, Original Plan of sketches in and around Boston, Massachusetts including: the Thayer House and Bliss House on Commonwealth Ave., the Elbridge House in Dorchester, the Barnard House in Milton and the Webber House on Longwood Ave. in Brookline.  HAND-COLORED.  Peabody & Stearns, Cabot & Chandler, W R Emerson and S E Tobey, Architect(s). From the American Architect and Building News, August 8, 1885.

This picture is extremely hard to find, as the American Architect and Building News not only had a very small circulation during that time, but very few were actually preserved or colored as this has been.  It measures 12 by 8 inches.  Has a mat border and foam core backing (not attached to the picture).  The whole plan measures approximately 16 by 12 inches (with mat border).  Finely detailed and beautifully hand-colored.  Shrink wrapped.

Plan is in VG+ condition with very light browning and some minor crinkling.
