The Highlands, Apartment-Houses are better known as The Churchill Hotel, located near fashionable Dupont Circle. The Churchill Hotel has been home to a long list of diplomats, dignitaries, politicians, business travelers, and esteemed families for over 100 years. Today, the Churchill Hotel remains one of the most prominent hotels in Washington DC. Lithograph. This picture is extremely hard to find. The American Architect and Building News had a very small circulation during this time and these original lithographs only appeared in a very limited number of issues that were distributed to a few prominent architects. This is from the architect Bruce Price's collection. It measures 8.75 by 12.25 inches. Has a mat border and foam core backing (not attached to the picture). The whole picture measures approximately 10.75 by 15.5 inches (with border). Extraordinary detail in this early photographic print. Shrink wrapped.
