Walker Building at 120 Boylston Street, Boston, MA
Winslow and Wetherell, architect(s). From the American Architect and Building News, October 24, 1891. 13 by 17.75 inches. VG+.
This building is now owned by Emerson College and houses the Emerson Library as well as classrooms, offices and academic departments and computer labs. This picture is extremely hard to find, as the American Architect and Building News not only had a very small circulation during that time, but very few were actually preserved or colored as this has been. It measures 13 by 17.75 inches. LARGE PICTURE. Has a mat border and foam core backing (not attached to the picture). Finely detailed and beautifully hand-colored. Shrink wrapped.
